Is Microdermabrasion for you?
What is Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is physical exfoliation using either a diamond tip or loose crystals that are blasted onto the skin. Both are combined with suction to remove your dead skin and debris. Microdermabrasion can cause irritation, but redness usually dissipates shortly after the service.
Is it right for me?
People with rosacea, an active cold sore, active acne, or sensitive skin should avoid this service. Microdermabrasion can spread bacteria and cause more breakouts.
If you have hyperpigmentation, rough dry skin, fine lines, or acne scars, microdermabrasion may be for you!
Benefits of Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion helps with the appearance of large pores, skin texture, fine lines, dark spots, scarring, dull complexion, and skin care product penetration. A series of treatments is recommended for a more noticeable improvement. Although, you will see a difference after the first treatment.
After the treatment
Your skin can become easily irritated after Microdermabrasion. You should avoid sunlight, exercise, sweating, and hot showers for 24 hours. Make sure to wear spf as microdermabrasion will cause your skin to be more sensitive to the sun.
